- 2010 State Leadership Conference
Friday, April 9, 2010 - Saturday, April 10, 2010Ready or not, it is now time to begin final preparations for our annual State Leadership Conference at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, Friday - Saturday, April 9-10, 2010.
Be sure students have a copy of the following information. The changes are as follows:
- There will be no holding rooms, so participants must be careful not to disclose information about these events to other participants. (They must understand that they will be in holding rooms at nationals.)
- No participants may observe events.
- Business Communications participants need to take the written test and the writing exercise.
Please note the following rules for tests:
- A student must score at least 50% on a test to be recognized in the awards program
- Participants may only take those tests for which they are registered before the conference
- Participants may begin a test at any time during a flex test session, but their time does not extend beyond the test block ending time—in other words, they may take 2 tests during the same testing session, but they will not be given additional time to finish the 2nd test.
National Programs Be sure to check sections VI and VII in your Chapter Management Handbook for scholarship, membership awards, etc., deadlines. (Some are listed on the important dates and deadlines schedule.)
Online Conference Registration Instructions regarding online registration for the conference are included on this CD. Separate entry forms which are required for many of the pre-judged events are also available on this CD and the Web site.
